The Landscape Show is a perfect venue to introduce high school horticulture students to the wide range of plants, products, services – and career opportunities – within Florida’s nursery and landscape industry.

Students, teachers, classes,homeschool groups and FFA chapters are invited to attend FNGLA’s Horticulture Career Fair at The Landscape Show each year to experience the show and to learn.

 

Who Should Attend?

• High school students (public, private and homeschool) interested in an exciting career in Florida's nursery & landscape industry.

• Teachers, parents, counselors and agri-science coordinators who want to learn more about higher education and career opportunities for students.

• This event is designed for the students to interact with potential employers and educators. In addition, a friendly competition among the horticulture classes and FFA chapters in attendance provide for an outstanding learning experience.

Who Will Be There?

• Nurseries, Allied Suppliers, Theme Parks and Landscape Companies who want to talk to you about your career plans.

• Universities, Community Colleges and Technical Education Centers where you can learn more about your chosen field.

What Will We Do?

• Learn all you can, because you might be chosen to represent your class or FFA chapter in a competition.

• The vast expanse of The Landscape Show awaits you at 11 a.m. when you have the opportunity to visit 200,000 square feet-- that's almost 5 acres- of trees, shrubs, equipment (and more!) from over 400 exhibiting companies & industry professionals.
